Το thrash/death/tech/prog metal project που ακούει στο όνομα Desolate Plains έχει έτοιμο το τρίτο του album το οποίο τιτλοφορείται “The Inexhaustible Imperfection of the World” και κυκλοφορεί από την Molon Lave Records. Είχαν προηγηθεί τα “Practicing the Inner Arts” και “The Face of the Earth” των οποίων το νέο album αποτελεί, θεματολογικά, τη φυσική συνέχεια.
Ο mastermind του project, Λάμπρος Ποταμιάνος, έχει αναλάβει γι’ακόμη μια φορά όλες τις συνθέσεις, αλλά και τις ηχογραφήσεις στις κιθάρες, μπάσο και synths, ενώ η συνεργασία τους με την Αλίκη Κατριού (φωνητικά) σε αυτό το τρίτο δισκογραφικό βήμα παγιώνεται.
Τη σύνθεση ολοκληρώνει, ως session συμμετοχή, η Ελένη Νότα στα τύμπανα. Τα φωνητικά, οι κιθάρες και το μπάσο ηχογραφήθηκαν στα studio του Λάμπρου Ποταμιάνου σε Αθήνα και Λευκάδα, ενώ οι ηχογραφήσεις των τυμπάνων έγιναν στην Αθήνα στα Made In Hell studio. Η μίξη και το mastering έγιναν από τον Dan Baune της Noise Foundry Productions στη Γερμανία.
Το artwork του album δημιουργήθηκε από τη Visual Bytes.
Το “Shadows” επέλεξε το σχήμα για τη δημιουργία του πρώτου video clip και μπορείτε να το παρακολουθήσετε παρακάτω:
