To “The X ID” είναι το πρώτο video/ single από το ένατο album των Καλιφορνέζων IAMX με τίτλο “Fault Lines”. Ο δίσκος επρόκειτο να κυκλοφορήσει στις 12 Μαΐου 2023, από την IAMX Productions Inc.
Το προσωπικό project του Chris Corner, ιδρύθηκε αρχικά το 2002 μετα από την αποχώρηση του από τους Sneaker Pimps, δημιουργώντας το συγκρότημα των IAMX.
Το σχήμα με το ξεχωριστό του χαρακτήρα, έχει γίνει ιδιαίτερα αγαπητό και γνωστό στον εναλλακτικό/ ηλεκτρονικό ήχο για την πανκ ενέργεια και τον πειραματισμό στην μουσική του.
Όλα τα τραγούδια του “Fault Lines” έχουν ηχογραφηθεί και δημιουργηθεί εξ‘ολοκλήρου από τον Chris Corner στα Silent Valley Studios στο Warner Springs.
